SUITABLE FOAMS FOR FOOD CONTACT

ZFoam and Plastazote foams:
Due to demands from the market of plastic foams for packaging and pieces suitable for food contact, Zfoam has carried out overall and specific migration testing (*) with its range of Plastazote foams and the values obtained are well below the limits currently in force.

In addition to the product testing, ZFoam has implemented a HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) in order to have a strict hygienic and sanitary control at all stages of the foam conversion process; from the reception of the raw material until the end product is dispatched to the final customer, through the various conversion stages.

As a result of this implementation, Zfoam has been registered in the General Sanitary Register of food business operators and food products (Nº 39.005538/Z). Zfoam is one of the few foam converters at the national level that can convert and produce suitable foams for food contact.
